How Does An Apple Pick Swimwear?

How does an “Apple” pick the perfect swimwear? I’m sure you know we don’t mean a fruit. An Apple is one of the common body types. How do you determine if your shape is an Apple? Simply measure your hip and bust properly. A 3″ or greater difference between the bust the hips will confirm it.

To look like an hourglass, what kind of swimwear should you buy? A good choice is finding swimwear that will draw attention away from your bust and emphasize your hips. Cup size is another important area to consider. Apple shapes usually have larger cup sizes such as C,D and bigger. So the bikini top must provide both ample support and draw attention away. That sounds like a tall order. However, it’s not if you know what kind of swimsuits to look at.

Underwire and Halter tops are the way to go for the Apple shape. For larger busts, they are the answer for both shape and support. If you choose Underwire, be sure to avoid any that have push-up pads (or make sure the pads are removeable). Otheriwise you will look bigger than you already are. You would be drawing attention to your bust which is not the effect you want. The Banded Halter is a special kind of Halter top. There is a “band” that goes around the entire body (underneath the bust) adding support. For color choice, ideally a solid dark color will de-emphasize.

Choosing embellishments and lots of fabric on the bottom will help to draw the eyes down there. Stay away from tiny string bikini bottoms. Your hips will look slimmer if you choose a string bikini. The Apple shape should try to make her hips look a little curvier. A hipster bottom is more in line with creating that effect. Make color choices that are bright. Solid and patterns are both great (patterned bottoms and colored tops are one of the best choices). And if you can find bottoms with ruffles, ruching, shirring, rhinestones, beads, metal rings, etc…all the better.

So don’t fear or shy away from picking out a real hot bikini or one piece swimsuit. You can definitely look and feel confident and sexy on the beach, at the pool, and wherever else you want to wear your sexy swimwear.
